How did I get back to strength?

 
 

I began my fitness journey back in the days of leg warmers, spending time in gym workouts, teaching fitness classes, working as a personal trainer, and coaching swimming. However, it was when I discovered yoga that everything started to shift. Yoga became the foundation that enhanced everything else I was doing, both physically and mentally.

After more than three decades in the world of yoga and yoga therapy, where body mechanics have always been my primary focus, I find myself returning to strength training, bringing with me the invaluable lessons yoga has taught me about body awareness, proper form and alignment, posture, balance, breathing, and so much more.

As more research highlights the importance of strength, especially for women's health, we're realizing that strength is not just essential for longevity but also for improving the overall quality of life. Currently, I’m focusing exclusively on working with women, and it's been an incredibly fun and unexpected turn in this season of my life.
